“Ein wunderbar erholsamer Aufenthalt!”

We decided on a spontaneous short break nearby and chose the Propstei Wechterswinkel. The setting is quiet, right in nature, which is ideal. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. The house, though steeped in history, feels young. Historic furniture is combined with modern items—very well done! The modern bathrooms deserve special mention. The owners run the place with heart and sense, providing guests a very pleasant stay. The entire house is very clean and organized. Breakfast was extraordinary, offering everything one could wish for. Frau Müller seemed to read every wish from the eyes, and our stay was very relaxing. The tour of the house’s history by the landlord rounded out our visit. We will gladly return.

The breakfast was quite wonderful, varied, and tasty. The warm, affectionate service added to the experience. The nature‑near garden looked good even at first glance. My nicely furnished room with a kitchenette was clean and well equipped, just a bit dark. My extra requests were easily fulfilled by simply asking. I didn’t need tips for the area, but they were provided both orally and in writing. The days were very beautiful, and I will gladly come back. There was nothing else… only that my time was so short.

The location is exceptionally beautiful, the decor is tasteful and thoughtful, and the staff in every department are extremely friendly and attentive. We have to return!
