“Authentic farmhouse stay in a beautiful natural setting”

We liked the genuine farmhouse vibe and the calm natural setting, and the owners were open, friendly, quick to help us settle in; the accommodation was a fully livable space with all the necessary utensils and facilities for a comfortable stay. However, there were quite a few insects, especially when we opened the windows, the room under the roof got very hot in summer and a fan would have helped a lot, the shower flow was slow, and the door could not be locked, though our belongings stayed safe. Overall, these could be improved but they didn't ruin the welcoming experience.

I made a double booking and contacted the hotel as soon as possible, but after several phone calls, emails, and even through Booking, I received no response from the gentleman. I still haven’t heard anything. He didn’t fulfill the promise he made after contacting Booking to help me get a refund. I still haven’t received anything and can’t get in touch.

The location was good, but overall maintenance was disappointing; it’s a shame that such a clean venue isn’t kept in good condition.

The location was fine, but the appliances were dated – the microwave barely responded to the start button, the shower head was calcified, and the bathroom was old with only one integrated toilet. It could accommodate six people, though we were just two couples, which made it far from ideal for a proper holiday. We left for Festival Dranouter, which was okay.
