Good location in Karen, felt secure. Some staff were less helpful than on other stays. The Golf club wasn’t particularly welcoming to hotel guests. The Residence buildings looked nice, but the interior decor disappointed with hospital‑green walls and a strange bedroom layout.

“A taste of luxury in the stunning Karen District”

We stayed again for three nights at The Residences and it lived up to our expectations; the apartment was immaculate and featured a lovely terrace surrounded by greenery, while breakfast offered a mix of hot and cold dishes, including eggs or omelettes cooked to your preference. The staff, from front desk to golf course, were professional and friendly, giving the whole place a high‑class feel. They even took care of us nightly with room service that secured insect nets around the bed and turned on the bedside lamp. However, coordination for half‑board dinners at the golf club restaurant could improve; the waiters seemed unsure about what was included or how to bill, so a clear voucher system would make the process smoother.
