The place has a great vibe – the hot tub and little waterfall were a real treat, and the hosts were friendly, especially the dog Nina who greeted us every morning. It’s cheap enough and easy to find, and the pizza from the nearby joint was surprisingly good. The only things that bothered me were the dim lighting at times and the shower that tends to spray the floor, plus I wish there were power sockets by the bed.

I appreciated the quiet, clean setting and the superb bathtub that made evenings relaxing. The room, however, felt cramped – the bed was short and my feet dangled over the edge, there weren’t enough power plugs, and the electricity flickered a bit, probably because of the rain.

We arrived and chatted with João, the host’s son, about end‑of‑year availability – it was already booked, but we’re already planning a return. The chalet itself was spotless, with a full kitchen, fresh bedding, solid Wi‑Fi and hot water everywhere, and João even helped start a fire for us at night. Nina the dog kept us company and Jadi’s playful antics added laughs, while the paved road right up to the property made getting there easy.

The spot is quiet and cozy, with a simple charm that makes it perfect for unplugging from city noise, and the host was always on hand while Nina the little dog greeted us and stayed around. The surroundings are great for a nature‑focused break, and we’d definitely suggest it to anyone looking to get away. The only thing that bummed me out was that we had to leave before we were ready.
