“Lujo decadente”

The air conditioning worked, and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The location near the train station and Lidl was convenient. However, the place is a guest house, and we were made to wait for check‑in even though we had notified the host of our arrival time via chat. The advertised Wi‑Fi stayed down for the entire stay, and the owner promised it would work on Monday but it didn’t. There is no wardrobe or hangers, the towels could be better, and the room was unclean when we arrived—the bathroom was dirty. Ants were present in both the kitchen and bathroom, and there were no toiletries provided, so we had to bring our own shower gel and shampoo.

The lady was friendly, but the place had poor soundproofing, a dirty bathroom, and the sheets and towels weren’t changed and the beds weren’t made.

“Serviu perfeitamente para passar uma noite”

The cleaning was good and the owner was friendly, but the entrance was hard to spot; on the street the Guest House sign was barely visible.

“Chambre agréable et assez bien située.”

The location is convenient, just a walk from the city centre and easy to find free parking. The room was clean and roomy, the shared bathroom very tidy, and the shared kitchen too. There were no instructions upon arrival, so we had to call in front of the closed door; after a short wait, our host came quickly with someone who spoke English to hand over the keys and explain everything.

“Lovely spot and made even better by Ziza’s hospitality.”

The charm, comfy beds, and roomy rooms were great; the kitchen was well stocked with plenty of fridge space. Ziza was very kind and helpful. The only downside is that morning traffic can be a bit noisy, but it’s not a big deal—just bring earplugs if you’re sensitive.
