The monkeys on the roof terrace were a highlight, but they made proper ventilation impossible and left an unpleasant odor throughout the building.

The staff were excellent, breakfast was great, the room was comfortable, and the location was very close to the Temple of the Tooth and Kandy Lake. The property sits up a hill from town with several stairs to reach it, which is fine if you have no mobility issues.

From the terraces the views are wonderful, the host was very helpful and friendly, the room is spacious and comes with mosquito nets, and the bathroom is well appointed. Breakfast was nice and fresh, a pleasant change from the usual curry. However, there are many steps that may concern some guests, and being next to the jungle sanctuary means you can expect insects.

The hosts were helpful, the balcony offers good views, nature is nearby, and breakfast is tasty. Parking space is very limited, especially for larger cars, and the room has a damp, musty smell.
