The building is top‑class and right in the heart of Miyajima. The staff were friendly and welcoming, and the dinner was of the highest quality. However, given the level of the hotel and its services—including the dinner—we expected more from the breakfast, which turned out to be somewhat limited.

The location couldn’t be better. The staff were extremely attentive and the facilities were excellent. The onsen offered both an indoor pool and an outdoor one. Dinner was superb, featuring a menu with many options that were well prepared and varied. The breakfast, however, had less variety compared to the dinner and didn’t allow guests to choose main dishes like other hotels in this category.

The hotel staff were simply phenomenal. We were warmly received and guided through all the information. With patience, every question was answered and they even took the time to practice Japanese terms. The location is very convenient on the shopping street, and the streets are quiet in the evenings. The room was very spacious; because we booked an interior room, there was no view. The bathroom was beautiful and large. A separate public bath for guests on the top floor features an outdoor pool and a view. With half‑board, the Kaiseki menu is included. Staying on the island is very worthwhile, as there are no day‑tourists in the evenings. Perfect! The expectation for a breakfast buffet at this price point was not met, especially regarding the variety. The quality was good.

The central location was great, and the onsen overlooking the water was amazing for sunset. The dinner was exceptional, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. Breakfast could use some improvement, but otherwise it was a perfect stay.
