The staff were caring, and on a rainy day I also used the pool, which felt nice, but both times I stayed in rooms that didn’t look out over the lake, even though it’s a Lakeview Hotel; I should have asked for a lake‑view room at the first checkout.

A convenient spot for visiting the lake islands/parks or the city wall, but the restaurant upstairs has terribly dirty carpets, and the breakfast lacked fruit—only oranges and tomatoes were offered.

The place is in a great spot and the front desk staff were friendly. The TV was old and didn’t have many channels, and the shower pressure left something to be desired.

I loved how close it was to the lake, and having a smoking room was a real bonus these days. There are plenty of restaurants and malls right nearby.
