The staff were very attentive and made us feel very comfortable. The room was also incredible in terms of space and comfort.

The staff are lovely and we ate at the pub restaurant; the food is excellent. The rooms aren’t that great and could use a bit of modernization. Be advised that there are building works on the grounds. The gardens are untidy because of the building works, with a pile of stuff outside the accommodation.

The location is superb, the food is exceptional including breakfast, the staff are wonderful, kind, happy, and energetic. The room needs more work: shelves or cupboards in the bathroom, a soap holder for the bath, extra pillows, a heavier duvet, and the kettle needs to be descaled.

Great breakfast and the staff were quick because the orders were already placed the night before. The building is old, so the room’s cleanliness wasn’t perfect—especially the toilet that seemed loose and could shift while in use—but overall it met my needs for a fair price that included breakfast.
