The staff were very nice and friendly; however, there was a moldy coffee pot left in the room, fake eyelashes in the bed, the toilet didn’t flush well, only one outlet worked so I couldn’t charge my phone and use my CPAP at the same time.

The jet bathtub was the only thing I liked; they had cockroaches in the breakfast area and in the rooms, the pool was cold, and whenever you went to the pool room you got locked in and the keycards worked on and off.

The room was adequate, felt safe, and the beds were acceptable; the lock, TV, AC, fridge, and toilet all worked. Parking was adequate and the proximity to our venue was also adequate. The free breakfast was probably the best part. This place is gross: the room hadn’t been adequately cleaned and there was someone’s hair in the shower. The entire building was dirty, the room was nicer than the halls or the lobby. A prostitution or drug deal ring seemed to be running out of the back door, which was broken and didn’t lock. People would come in, do their deal, and leave all day long. The whole place stank of pot smoke and we felt completely unsafe outside. The location is on a dead‑end road next to another abandoned hotel. We stayed the weekend of Bourbon and Beyond because it was as close to the festival as we could get on short notice. They charged us $250/night. And the highlight? Someone had painted the words “Eat AZZ” in the bathroom wall. High Class!!!

The hotel sits close to the expo center and the drive in and out is straightforward. The management was very generous, letting us check in early on a busy weekend for them. Unfortunately the property wasn’t well cleaned: garbage littered the hallways, the shower was covered in hair and sticky residue was on the counter and in the fridge. The AC also smelled a bit moldy, so I suspect the early check‑in offer may have meant the room wasn’t actually cleaned.

We didn’t stay. Drug dealing outside, mold and cigarette smell in the room, exposed wires, no switch plates on the plugs, brown stuff running down bathroom walls and tub, and the bathroom cupboard was nailed shut.
