The location is excellent: after a 10‑hour flight and a 3‑hour border line, a 15‑minute taxi ride gets you to a pleasant sea‑side pool. Rooms are decent, sea view is wonderful. Visitor numbers are moderate—at night the lobby is full of Chinese guests, but the pool isn’t crowded, elevators are quick, no queues. Visitors are mainly Chinese tourists and locals; CIS citizens are fewer than elsewhere. The beach is almost empty. We’ll definitely return; the beach is great, a paradise after Nha Trang. The staff’s transparency is lacking; room preparation took a long time, documents were verified and a deposit taken, key hand‑over waited about an hour. Chinese guests were given keys instantly (coincidence?), as was the border pass. Checkout was quick, 15 minutes, thank you for that. The extra bed was a squeaky folding bed—terrible. A reserve of 500,000 dong is taken, and there’s no warning when booking. It was good to have extra cash. The USD‑to‑dong exchange rate at the hotel is 200,000 off the official rate; better to exchange at the airport on arrival.

It’s a beautiful resort in a good location, the beach is dreamy, and it truly lets you relax and spend pleasant days with family. I didn’t like that the resort caters only to Vietnamese tourists; breakfast feels geared toward Vietnamese people, and I felt a bit uncomfortable because there wasn’t much variety for children, so I ended up eating breakfast outside the resort most days, as well as all other meals. The hallway floors leading to the rooms were very dirty. It would have been better if the awnings were closer to the beach, and of course, there should be more of them.

The place gives good bang for your buck, sitting just a stone's throw from the beach and only 10 minutes away from the airport, but the staff is so thin that checking in or out feels like waiting in line at a theme park. The room itself was tidy, comfortable and spotless, yet there was no hot water.
