The location is very quiet right next to Yala, and the owner, his wife, and assistant are all very friendly. Breakfast and dinner were excellent. If you want a safari in Yala, arrange it through the owner; it’s perfectly organized. The tickets are booked in advance so you’re among the first to enter the park. Most guides buy their tickets on site, which means you have to stand in line. The arranged guide was also very good and had a great car. Additionally, you’ll pay less than if you organized it from the Netherlands. Nothing negative, it was a wonderful stay. Just remember you have to buy meals on site because there’s nothing nearby, and you must pay in cash, which is a bit more inconvenient.

This place is a gem. If you’re doing a safari, it’s 15 minutes from the gate and they’re happy to arrange one if you haven’t already. Dinner is worth the $12 each with hot, tasty food. The host family is very welcoming and we had a great chat with them. You might even spot an elephant in the garden at night if you’re lucky! For our short stay there were no downsides.

The owner and staff were incredibly friendly, everything was spotless and the air‑conditioning worked well. The place sits quietly on the beach and is close to the entrance of Yala, and if you’re lucky you might even spot an elephant. The food was well organised and tasty too. Nothing to complain about.
