A really interesting place with a lovely ambience and staff to match. Close to a super restaurant. A genuine work in progress and so interesting to see. A lovely breakfast room. With our age and disabilities the stairs were a little problematic

Elodie was an incredibly kind host who welcomed us warmly even late into the evening and, when we asked, arranged a bottle of wine with nuts – the best wine she could find. Every morning the breakfast was delicious and well presented, and we enjoyed chatting with Elodie and other guests from France and Manchester. We’d love to return when we head to the large Brocante market in Lille, just a 15‑minute drive and then another 15 minutes by metro to see the beautiful annual market. The only downside was that the hallway was noisy when new guests arrived.

The breakfast was great, with excellent jams and fresh bread, all served in a very pretty room. The room itself was clean, functional and quiet. I left my key in the courtyard for the night. I was disappointed to find out that the spa cost an extra 65 euros – a misleading advertisement, especially since I was booking on my phone while riding my motorcycle and it wasn’t easy to spot that detail. The room felt small for the price, and the TV didn’t work.
