The place is beautiful and calming; I really enjoyed it and felt safe. Thank you to the lovely ladies, which is the staff. When we had to bathe the water pressure was very low.

The location was perfect, close to the marathon stadium and restaurants, and the area was peaceful and quiet. However, there was a misunderstanding about check‑out time: I had requested an extension online because I was running a marathon that finished after normal check‑out, and it was granted. I was exhausted after my first full marathon and looking forward to a warm shower, but a staff member demanded an extra payment for late check‑out. I declined to pay, asked the owner to call me, and decided to leave immediately instead of showering. The owner claimed she had not agreed when I followed up by phone after booking a few days earlier, even though the extension had been granted online. I assured her I would gladly pay the extra fee if she could provide a recording confirming our conversation, which I did not recall. She chose to let it go even though I insisted on paying. Before arrival, my initial booking was cancelled because I used a debit card, so I re‑booked with a credit card and the same request was again granted. I’m not sure where I went wrong, but I’ll go back because I believe it was all a misunderstanding that could serve as a teachable moment for everyone involved.

I appreciated the towels, mirrors, sink and basin stopper, and the new shower head, but I was disappointed that no towels were actually provided.

“Had a good stay, a nice place if you need decent accommodation in the Vaal.”

The location was great, close to all the amenities, but the rooms were very small.
