The staff were nice and the rooms were spacious. The shower was really bad and the place could use a cleaner.
“Short stay in Singaraja”
The lodge looked very artistic. The rooms were spacious, had good air conditioning, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was okay. Breakfast featured a tasty banana pancake. Most of all, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The swimming pool was small but nice. The first rooms we got were not well maintained; the toilet seat was damaged. In the second room the bathroom door was stuck, but we could change to another that was better.
“Bonne ambiance et bon retour qualité prix”
The staff were kind and the beach was close. The facilities were old (bathroom). The alarm clocks were a bit too early (work, music, and dogs barking).
“what a creepy place - be careful, skip this place”
The young staff were friendly. It was too cheap to be good, and that was true here. I had cash stolen from my bag when I went to shower by a "guest" – another hustler, apparently a friend of Steve (a fake name, for sure). The thief stayed in the room directly in front of mine. A man from Bolivia with no Bolivian name. Steve is the old guy who sleeps on the couch in the common area near reception. The "rooms" feel like barns, with no roof, weak door locks (see the picture), and notice how the two rooms on the left have one type of lock while the ones on the right have another (not that vulnerable to opening). Read here for the rest – it’s a meeting point for creepy hustlers and con men; bad, evil people. Ask Steve about it. He’ll talk about Christ and sexual depravity in the same evening. What a dung hole! Seriously, if you don’t want to get robbed, or worse, skip this horrible place.
