I liked the location, but the room was not very clean; the sheets and curtains were dirty and a blinds was broken.

The host was kind and helpful and the room was cozy, but the location wasn’t the most convenient and parking was a bit tricky.

The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable, yet overall I can’t give a positive rating. On arrival I was directed from the parking to the front door by phone, and when I rang the host didn’t open the door—an other sleepy guest did. I had to call again to find my room. Once there I called again to ask where the kitchen was, but contrary to the website it was basically exclusive to one room: when I entered I found dirty dishes and a kitchen with a sleeping guest and the door open. Very embarrassing. In the bathroom the water from all taps was cold both evening and morning and there were no complimentary toiletries as advertised, only opened bottles. The shower had a large limescale stain on the floor. Breakfast was in a neighboring bar that, unlike what the host had assured me, didn’t open at 6 (at least on Sunday) but after 7.30. Luckily I had Nescafe, so I went into that dirty kitchen, found a pot and made a Nescafe that I drank in the courtyard. The courtyard would have been nicer if there weren’t so many overflowing trash bags. I can document everything with photos, which I prefer not to publish but can send to the manager privately.

There was no welcome at all; the owner didn’t inform us that check‑in would be remote even though we had notified the arrival time. When we arrived we found a guest pretending to be the owner’s staff, causing confusion and agitation. The owner I called couldn’t give useful directions to resolve the situation with this “guest” or the stay in general, and didn’t even know which room the cleaning lady had prepared for us (causing unnecessary wait). The room was very uncomfortable and messy: the double bed was actually a sofa bed, very uncomfortable because it was sagging in the middle. The private bathroom was outside the room and even on a different floor than the room (this was not specified at booking), and if we’d known we probably wouldn’t have booked because with a dog the hassle of changing floors just to shower was very high. Finally the room communicated with a kitchen, not exclusive, which other guests and the cleaning lady could access, and light came into the room where we stayed. We had to find the key to the communicating door ourselves to close it so no one could enter our room. We definitely won’t book here again.
