The accommodation looked deceptively appealing, but the price was a downside. It’s a small hideaway next to town amenities, with a basic room that has no TV, but you can access the garden and pool area. I’d rate it an 8 out of 10, but the price brings it down to a 6. The staff and service were lovely, and the breakfast was fresh and good. The only thing that let it down was the price; we were traveling and found similar or better places for less. The bank holiday weekend in Spain likely pushed the price up, and parking was limited.

The location is very central, the facilities are spotless, the breakfast is spectacular, everything else is great and it’s close to the lake.

The residence is quiet, although the surrounding neighborhood is very chatty late at night. It’s very well located. The breakfast is exceptional and the staff are adorable.

“On change de siècle dans cette maison 1950! superbe !”

The house has a 1950s look, the neighborhood is very quiet, there’s a pool in the garden, the employee was very kind, and the breakfast is superb! The location is excellent, just a few steps from the beautiful historic center square, and a short walk from the lake where we also swam (the nautical center). It makes you want to return; it’s a great spot to visit the medieval town of Besalù, 15 km away. However, the room doors on the ground floor lack soundproofing. Regarding parking: the listing says there’s on‑site parking for €12, but at the start of the conversation we were told to park 200 m down the street (free on white stripes). We had just had our car robbed the day before, 30 km away, so we would have appreciated the advertised parking. That’s why the overall score is 9; otherwise the place deserves a 10 for everything else.
