We were greeted warmly and felt at home instantly. Unfortunately, we missed the dinner service because we stayed on the wrong days. The side tables by the bed were handy for all our travel gear, but that’s a very minor gripe in an otherwise great stay.

Quiet, small, centrally located in Meursault and right in the heart of Burgundy, with an easy walk to the town centre and several notable restaurants. The owners recently turned this building into a lovely, intimate yet private and comfortable place. Our room and bath were generous and stocked with all the expected amenities, even two power outlets on each side of the bed—a rarity in France! The breakfasts were outstanding, the hosts were gracious, warm, and made us feel very welcome. On‑site parking and a secure bicycle storage were provided. No criticisms of the property.

The rooms were beautifully decorated and spotless. There was a snooker table, a swimming pool, and a wine‑tasting room. The communal dining area was great, the food excellent, and the wine list featured only wines they had aged themselves in new French oak barrels—very good.

If you’re looking for a short or long stay in the area, this place is a must‑book – it’s phenomenal. We slept better than we had in years, even with our 3‑year‑old, and woke up refreshed with back pain gone. We only stayed one night after a long travel day, so we missed the wine tasting, but Nadia kindly poured us a delicious glass of red. Breakfast the next morning was great, featuring local organic produce and a wide selection that we greedily sampled. The owning couple were genuinely friendly and helpful. If you’ve read this far, just book it. The only downside was that we didn’t stay long enough.
