The breakfast was very good and the location was convenient for Ubud. However, loud construction noise next door made it impossible to relax, and they wouldn’t allow me to cancel for free when I arrived. I had to leave to find a quiet place. The shower was heavily blocked and took overnight to drain, and the sink had a leak that dripped underneath. I would not stay there again.

The place runs like a family‑run inn; the staff were extremely kind and efficient. It sits in a very distinctive, charming house with carved doors, and our room had a wall window overlooking the top of a tree where little birds perched. The beds were very comfortable and the cleanliness was impeccable. Breakfast wasn’t a buffet, so the quantity was limited, but we really liked it. The building doesn’t have an elevator, so it isn’t suitable for guests with mobility issues. It’s centrally located, only 150/200 m from the main street, but the lane that leads there isn’t lit, is narrow, and runs along a canal. The price isn’t cheap compared to the services offered.
