Our stay in Chikmagalur turned into something far more meaningful than a vacation, restoring our faith in humanity. From the moment we arrived, the property owner and host welcomed us warmly, making us feel like family. Their kindness shone brightest during an unexpected crisis: on the second day, my wife had a high fever and needed IV treatment at a local hospital; we planned to return to Pondicherry, but her condition prevented immediate departure. When I explained the situation to the owner, he and the host stepped in with genuine care, treating us like family, providing everything we needed, checking on us regularly, and ensuring comfort during a stressful time. The next day, I also fell ill with the same fever; the owner guided us to the nearest hospital and ensured we knew where to get help. The host, in particular, cared for us with motherly love, concern, and affection—an unforgettable kindness. Thankfully, with our fevers partially under control, we safely returned to Pondicherry the following day. Though exhausted on the journey home, I couldn't thank them in person, so I write this message to express heartfelt gratitude to both the owner and host. Their generosity, humanity, and compassion during one of the toughest moments of our trip meant more than words can convey. A special thank you to the host for her motherly care that gave us comfort when we needed it most.
