You can’t beat the location; the lake is easily reachable and the rocking chairs are great for relaxing before or after a stroll. It does feel a little dated, perhaps because it’s the off‑season between summer and fall when things could use a bit more care.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive. The hotel lacks sprinklers, which worries me about fire safety, and it definitely needs a renovation.

I liked the location geographically. Buffay was way overpriced and frankly not very good. You only discovered the price when you were leaving to pay. There were no menus, no staff, and no signage.
