I wish I could remember the name of the woman at the front desk—she was thorough and pleasant! The Safari Café across the road had an excellent menu, great service, and we had the best meal of our trip there.

The bathroom had been recently renovated. The old furniture, worn-out bed, and smaller room size compared to the photos were disappointing. The bathroom was poorly cleaned, and cheap earrings from previous guests were still lying in a corner of the washbasin.

I asked for a quiet room, but ours was noisy because it sat near the main road with busy truck traffic and close to the stairwell; it would have been better on the second floor farther from the road.

The old building looked nice and the staff were friendly, but the room was dirty and the portable air conditioner had a hose sticking out the window; they also mentioned the pool was closed all summer.

It’s in a good location, easily accessible & walking distance to the hot springs which is the main reason we visited Thermopolis. We liked everything about it
