The location is truly unbeatable—you are inside the citadel and within easy walking distance to all the major tourist sights and a grocery store. The rooms are nicely decorated and clean. The room was unfortunately very cold in October and we were told that it was not possible to turn off the AC

The location, the helpful staff. The toilet. There is only one toilet and 2 showers for everyone. And people smoked there

Grandioser Blick auf das Museum. Gestaltung des Raumes. Sehr gute Lage und sehr ruhig. Sanitäre Einrichtungen mehrmals am Tag geputzt. Bettwäsche zunächst nur halb rausgegeben, weil nicht trocken. Vorhänge konnte man weder vom Fenster wegziehen, noch komplett zumachen. Es wurde nicht kommuniziert, dass man am Montag (Ruhetag in der Festung) sich nicht in der Festung bewegen durfte, obwohl das Hostel in der Festung liegt

This hostel is located inside the fortress, providing an unbelievable view from the windows. Rooms are spacious and designed with beautiful carvings, beds are comfortable, and everything is clean. As a hostel resident, you can get into the fortress and the museum for free, and enjoy the view from the balcony. This experience is worth a visit to Khujand in itself!
