“Boutique, great location and wonderful friendly staff”
This boutique hotel was a hit—only about 8‑10 rooms, so ours sat up a couple of flights of stairs, meaning we had to haul our big suitcases up. After the first climb we settled in comfortably for the 4 nights we stayed. The staff greeted us warmly, helped with our luggage, and offered solid restaurant tips. Our spacious room was a relief for the luggage, the bed was huge and comfy, and the bathroom was lovely. We even had a small deck off the room with a view toward Table Mountain, which would be even better in warmer weather. The hotel sits in a great central spot, close to the stadium where the rugby rivalry game was, and a few steps away from many restaurants and a small mall. A laundromat about 200 m away proved handy midway through our three‑week trip. I want to highlight the very nice gentleman who served breakfast each day; the food was tasty and he was especially pleasant and smiley, making a great start to each day. Overall, this place is definitely a goodie and offered great value for money. Nothing negative—perfect.
