The breakfast was decent, offering hot and cold items that changed daily. My room was on an upper floor, so there was no one above me, and the stairs were worth climbing for that quiet, roomy feel. The kitchen had everything I needed, which was a plus compared to other single‑bedroom hotels. The room was very clean and I liked being able to close the bedroom door from the living area. However, the next room's shower made loud water noises—four separate showers played while I tried to sleep. The hotel added a $12 per night charge that wasn't in my reservation, claiming it was a city tax; after looking it up I found it was an optional fee some hotels impose and then blame on city rules. Also, parking costs extra, which is common, but with the already high rates in LA it can be annoying.

It was a great spot to stay, the beds were comfortable, the location was ideal, and the staff were very nice; breakfast was excellent with a wide variety to choose from, so I’d definitely return and recommend this place.
