The Ungasan Clifftop Resort sits 150 meters above the Indian Ocean, offering stunning views. This luxurious cliff-edge resort features a private beachfront, fitness facilities, and a day spa. Guests enjoy access to Sundays Beach Club and return airport transfer. Villas have designer kitchens, rain showers, and indoor/outdoor lounge areas. The resort is near Pura Luhur Uluwatu temple, 40 minutes from Kuta and 25 km from Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Everything was stunning: the location, the facilities, the villas, the food. The only thing that could use a tweak is housekeeping—on the second day they forgot to replace the slippers and the minibar in the fridge. Also, villa guests should get better treatment for access to the Sunday beach club; free sun chairs are only offered on the beach if available, but to get chairs on the top wooden deck villa guests pay a fee comparable to other beach clubs that have pools and more space between chairs. This isn’t a criticism, just a suggestion for improvement.

The views, location, and amenities were incredible, and the rooms were amazing. However, on a few occasions our requests were either very slow or didn’t arrive at all; at a 5* price point, you’d expect those things to be handled more promptly.
