Host Albert was a birdwatching expert, very nice and kind, and he arranged a trip for us for 80 eur (2 people) to see great birds, so if that’s your priority, it’s worth it. The landlady was not kind or nice at all. We felt a bit like intruders; she didn’t speak English, and if you’re on the ground floor and want a window open, you get cigarette smoke inside, low privacy, and the bathroom looks like it’s from the early ’90s.

The couple running the guest house were nice. We booked two rooms with private bathrooms, which were very clean and had good breakfast. We didn’t have time to do the carriage tour. There was no air‑conditioning in our rooms, but apparently the rooms upstairs had it.

The atmosphere was very pleasant and relaxed. The room was spacious, the garden cozy, and the breakfast was delicious. The people were friendly, and the host also acted as a guide for the area with a lot of knowledge about birds. Nothing to complain about.

The spot’s location was spot‑on, the welcome was super warm with a glass of wine, and the place felt genuinely authentic. Nothing else was missing; everything matched what I expected.
