Château le Fresne, a stately manor in Bouchemaine, blends historic charm with modern comfort. Its manicured gardens, seasonal outdoor pool, and heated hot tub invite relaxation, while a gourmet restaurant offers French cuisine with extensive dietary options. Family rooms, a shared kitchen, electric vehicle charging, and bicycle parking enhance convenience. Proximity to Terra Botanica, Angers Expo, and Nantes Airport makes it ideal for culture and travel.

We were greeted warmly and had a lovely stay. All staff were naturally friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and the beds comfortable, breakfast was varied and very tasty. The whole atmosphere was exceptional. Finally, the charging station in the park let us leave fully charged and keep traveling in the morning.

Everything was really good, especially the dinner which was excellent! No complaints.

The place is a castle, but a bit worn. Homemade dinner served in the courtyard tasted great, and the pool with its terrace is nice on sunny days. The bathroom is cut‑off with a sink in front of the fireplace, the Wi‑Fi and TV are sluggish, and there’s no air conditioning.

The stay in the castle feels special because it blends “old castle life” with modern tourism in a charming way.
