We moved into the Boudicca room after our original room didn’t suit us. I told Holly about the issues and she moved us right away. Some guests say there are no staff, but Holly was always reachable by text and responded fast – especially when I locked myself out! The hotel is beautiful and you’re left alone, with everything supplied from Molten Brown shower products to tasty daily brownies. Parking is limited and pricey (expected in the city centre). We had a disabled traveller, so we parked in St Andrews instead; a tip is to drop your bags at the hotel on the way to the car park. Also note that St Augustines Room and Boudicca are two flights of steep stairs, so let them know before booking if you have walking difficulties so you get a suitable room.

Das Zimmer war zwar klein aber 5-sternemässig ausgestattet. Kaffeemaschine mit Wasser gefüllt, zwei grosse Wasserflaschen, leckeres, frisches Kuchenstück und weitere Annehmlichkeiten. Sehr sauber. Läden, Restaurants etc. in der direkten Umgebung

The building is gorgeous and the décor is stylish, and the spot is perfect—check‑in was a breeze with clear instructions. The room itself felt a bit cramped; if my partner had come with all his gear it would have been too tight. I couldn’t find a full‑length mirror in the room, so I had to use the one in the hall/landing instead.
