“Terrible.”

The check‑in went smoothly, but at 2:30 am the night‑shift receptionist sent someone to knock on my door and shout “madam” because the external light was off and he wanted to make sure I was inside; the sudden disturbance woke me up and I couldn’t sleep again, and I can’t understand why anyone would do that at that hour or why someone like him works at a hotel—worst experience ever.

The rooms were clean, well furnished, and overall very good.

I was upgraded to a larger room, but there was no cleaning at all during my stay, bins weren’t emptied, the food was terrible—never had such poor quality in India—and the food was stored in a cellar fridge that was too cold; the first room wasn’t cleaned properly, the floor was dirty, the bedsheets were dirty, the place was noisy because it’s directly on a road, and the windows didn’t close properly.
