I was pretty let down by this hotel. The room was available and the bed sheets were clean, which was a plus. But the smoke smell in the room and hallway was really overpowering - we specifically booked a non-smoking room, so that was a bummer. I'd stayed at a different hotel in Kyoto that was super clean and nice, so I was expecting something similar, but unfortunately, this one fell short.
