The house had character, a certain charm, period tiles on the floor, painted ceilings with cherubs, and a pleasant inner garden. The Adèle room assigned to us was extremely noisy, facing the street; we had to keep the interior shutters closed and stay in the dark to try to reduce the street noise, but it didn’t help—no way to shut out the sound, the street was paved and very busy. This room should not be offered for rent.
