“Muy buena ubicación para disfrutar de Koh Tao”

We chose Nitro House mainly for its location and it turned out to be a good choice. It’s very central, right where many diving schools, bars, and eateries are, so it’s convenient for both diving and moving around the area. It’s also facing the ferries. Plus there’s a 7‑Eleven literally down the street, less than a three‑minute walk; it seems trivial, but you’ll spend a lot of time there. Another plus is that the hostel itself rents scooters, which is super handy for exploring Koh Tao, and they also offer paid massage services. During our stay there were very few people, so we practically had the hostel to ourselves, which gave us a lot of peace and comfort. The rooms weren’t especially comfortable, though they weren’t bad either considering the price and our short stay. Also, during our stay a heavy rain fell and one of the bathrooms had some leaks. It wasn’t a major problem, but it’s something that should be checked. Overall, I think the accommodation could improve a bit in terms of room conditions and comfort, but the location is really great and compensated for us.

“Buen lugar calidad-precio”

The place was perfect and the value for money was very good. The staff were very pleasant. The bunk room in my case let us sleep and rest well, we got massages in the same hostel, and we ate dinner and breakfast right next door. Everything was fine.

“Niet naar toe gaan. Het was er vreselijk!”

The room was a small, dirty stench hole; the beds, walls, and bathroom were filthy. Towels were only available for purchase. The staff were indifferent, even when water was absent for hours throughout the day and much of the evening.
