A brand‑new, spotless room with a well‑equipped communal kitchen and a lovely view of nature. The location is ideal for heading north on the Transfăgărășan. The host was very friendly, helpful, and communicative.

First of all, the positioning: as high as possible in a remote, mountainous area. The staff and owner handled everything, with a warm, friendly welcome. Cleanliness was 10/10. If you needed anything after a few days—towels, etc.—the owner would ask if you needed anything. Comfort: you find a simple cabin but equipped with very high‑quality materials. For an extra cost, you can reserve a ciubăr. The personnel are worth it. It’s a new experience for those who haven’t used a ciubăr before. Parking is within the premises. The owner saw us in the evening as we were heading home after a walk, having taken in the local days, and offered twice to drive us up to the accommodation in his personal car. + Others. Nearby the locality there are tourist points: the fortress with 1400 steps… , the Lightning Statue, Vidraru Dam, Bâlea Lake / Bâlea Waterfall… etc.
