The hotel was in a great spot, the manager Athena was very helpful and kind, and all the staff were lovely. It would have been nice to have a downstairs toilet, but otherwise everything was perfect.

“Unfortunate I am not going back”

The staff are amazing, they do everything they can to make you feel great. The housekeeper works nonstop and the restaurant staff do a great job – they definitely deserve a raise for their work. The apartment is extremely small; there were four of us (two adults and two children). It’s not suitable for four people, even though it’s marketed that way. It’s completely impractical: there are few power outlets, and the curtains don’t slide all the way open, so you can’t fully open the ground‑floor windows. Upstairs, the windows only tilt open, and the air conditioning doesn’t reach the upper level. It gets so hot up there that you can’t sleep at night. Because the roof isn’t insulated, the interior turns into a sauna; even though it was only 25–26 °C outside during the day – and it even rained on two of the days – it was stifling. I shudder to think what it’s like there when it hits 35 °C.

The room was spotless, breakfast was excellent, the pool was great, and the staff were very friendly. The bathroom was uncomfortable, the shower was tiny and open (every shower flooded the whole bathroom), and there was no bidet.

“We had a fab week at Oro the staff were very helpful and friendly”

The location was great and everyone was friendly, taking good care of us during the thunderstorm. The little bar and pool area were lovely. The beds felt a bit hard.
