“No volvería”
The location is close to the shopping street. Cleanliness was poor. We booked a 3‑day, 2‑night stay, but on the second day we had to leave urgently for Spain because a family member had died. We were still charged for the entire stay, even after showing the return flight ticket that night, and the staff showed little empathy. They refused to help us get to the airport; instead, when we asked about a private driver, they quoted an outrageous price, exploiting our urgency, especially since a Tuk Tuk would take 8 hours. In our view, the price doesn’t match the facilities. Breakfast was passable but not tasty.
“Vista bellissima sulle piantagioni di tè”
The view of the plantations is stunning, and the staff were very kind, greeting us with tea. Breakfast was excellent and the room cozy. The room is simple but comfortable. There’s no air conditioning, but that’s fine given the cooler climate of the area.
“Simply best & calm location to stay.”
The staff were incredibly welcoming and the stay was fantastic. From the balcony you could see a lovely tea estate, and the nearby Ayurvedic massage centre was a bonus. We also got a full body massage at a discounted rate.
The owner was personally involved, making the place feel more like a homestay. The owner’s English was barely adequate.
