Hotel Metropolitano

It wasn’t too much to complain about. The hotel and its location felt very uncomfortable. The TV was broken and I had a hard time finding channels. Breakfast was not a great deal for me and didn’t even feel like a decent breakfast. The location isn’t terrible, but you have to be very alert to the area. Homeless people were living on the street in front of the business, and even a few yards away from the hotel there was a homeless person asleep. That didn’t look good. In the next block there was another homeless person. The street area was not clean.

The staff were attentive, parking was available, the air conditioning worked well, and the noise isolation was good. The pillows and mattress were covered in plastic that made a noise, and it was difficult to manage the TV channels.

“It did the job i guess”

The staff was great, from the front desk to the ladies making our breakfast; everyone was kind and very helpful. The Wi‑Fi didn’t work half the time and kept disconnecting throughout the day, only working during the very early morning hours. That was a big issue because I had read many reviews claiming the Wi‑Fi was reliable and I needed it for work. Also there was no hot water, which I think should be mentioned when booking.

The location was close to the events. The tension from the staff in the dining area was not very friendly.
