I always start my reviews with the positives, so I’ll say the location is pretty good; you need a car to get to the city centre or the beach, but it’s only a few minutes away. Parking is easy to find right outside the hotel. We found two complimentary water bottles and coffee capsules, as well as cups and napkins. Towels were plentiful and there was a double bath mat, which I thought was great. Shampoo and body wash were available. The owner sent us a message halfway through our stay to check if we needed anything and if everything was going well. The room was clean, air‑conditioned, and the bathroom was spacious with a large shower, a comfortable bed, and several types of pillows. There were many outlets, a large fridge with freezer, a drying rack, a chair, and a iron. There was also a small common outdoor area with tables. Unfortunately, a few things need fixing. There is absolutely no place to put items in the bathroom. When the toilet is flushed, a bad smell often rises and there’s no vent in a windowless bathroom. The building’s façade needs work; it doesn’t give a good first impression. Our room was okay, but the second space was not a proper room—it was a small verandah terrace, so it got very hot and we had to keep the main room’s climate control on to cool that second area, which only had a rooftop fan. I recommend checking the cleaning and room setup, as we found dirty and used glasses in the cabinet. If the price had been lower, I might have overlooked these issues, but honestly the price was in line with other places. Lastly, I was disappointed that even though we booked with pay‑upon‑arrival, we were repeatedly asked to prepay on card; when we refused, we were contacted again and told we had to pay in full to avoid our reservation being cancelled. We ended up paying anyway; if you don’t trust that, you might want to avoid that option.

The house had all the comforts, and the owners were always available and welcoming. The city had supermarkets open even at night. The outdoor space was very comfortable, with an external shower so we didn’t have to dirty the house. The kids had fun. The beach was inconvenient to reach on foot, so you had to drive, but overall the stay was comfortable and a positive experience.

They’re a decent spot, but after the initial messages they’ll start charging 10 e£ every 15 minutes. If you’re not willing, just leave the room. Never again 😒 🙃
