The setting feels almost enchanted – if you love the outdoors, you won’t find a better spot. The rooms and the shared lounge are really pretty, everything works well and the beach is just a short walk away with a tiny shop right next door. Unfortunately the place has no generator, so a couple of days of heavy rain left us without power, internet or hot water, and our bed was cracked, leaving a noticeable dip in the middle.

The property itself is gorgeous and the staff welcomed us warmly from the start. We spent three days completely surrounded by forest, finding a lot of peace and quiet, and the beach at Paraty Mirim is only about a ten‑minute walk away. Our room was clean and tidy, which made the experience even nicer.
