The hosts were very friendly, the breakfast superb, the public transport connection good, and the atmosphere calm and pleasant; the rooms were tidy and cozy, and there were no negatives.

The hotel only benefits from being close to the Stuttgart Messe; the service has been cut back to a bare minimum, there is no breakfast, and you can have a breakfast tray for 17 € instead; with a nightly rate of 350 € you still don’t get a bottle of water in the room, and you have to pay 2,5 € to buy one; the elevator’s operating hours are unique, after 20 :00 you must walk up to the second floor.

“A clean, calm welcoming hotel stay”

The first thing you notice is a warm welcome; the single room was not cramped, it was actually roomy, very clean, had nice windows, and the breakfast (das Frühstück) was a lovely cozy buffet with cheese, cold cuts, fruit, cereal, coffee that felt like home; the only downside is the location on the edge of town, a 15‑minute walk or a quick bus 72 ride from Möhringen station, though that does make it easy to walk or jog for five minutes toward fields and farmland.
