Bondegårdsparken Farm Holiday

Cozy and practical little cabin that met expectations well. The cabin has most things in one room and worked very well for a short stay. It’s an older cabin in the countryside, with the standard and charm you can expect from that. The photos in the listing matched what we found, which I really appreciate when booking accommodation. For a longer stay I would personally consider one of the larger cabins, but for our stay this one worked very well. Nice place that I would gladly recommend.

It was a lovely place to stay; the cabin was simple, clean, and well equipped, though the steep ladder‑style staircase was a bit stressful with a small child. The property was beautiful, full of animals to visit and feed, and the owners went to great lengths to make us comfortable and welcome. The farm park is well located for traveling into Kristiansand by public transport. It feels rural and remote (by British standards!), but a 20‑minute walk through the woods takes you to a suburban area with shops and a bus stop. The nearby school has a play area open to the public, which was also great for us. We didn’t have our own bedding, and the bedsheets provided were a bit small and mismatched, though freshly washed and perfectly comfortable.

“Rolig og familievennlig gårdsopphold med koselig hus og dyr rett utenfor døra, anbefales.”

We rented the house on the farm and spent a lovely weekend with the family. The house was clean, spacious and well‑equipped; we had everything we needed to cook ourselves. The best part was how close we were to the animals – the kids could step outside in the morning and watch them. The surroundings were quiet, there was plenty of outdoor space to play, and the hosts were friendly and easy to reach. The location was nice, just a short drive to the city centre.

“Sjarmerende sørlandsidyll, nær Dyreparken og Sørlandsparken. Familiedrevet vertskap.”

A dreamy southern charm spot with a huge outdoor area for everyone to roam. For families with kids it’s a paradise where little and big alike can walk around, pet the animals and enjoy the expansive grounds. The owners run it as a family business, a super‑cozy pair of two generations living and working together. The location is perfect, a 10‑15 minute drive to Sørlandsparken and Dyreparken. It’s also close to the sea, with its own private sandy beach and lovely walking routes.
