Air‑conditioned rooms feature wrought‑iron beds, flat‑screen TVs and private marble bathrooms. Guests enjoy an outdoor pool, a garden with 17th‑century tiled benches, a piano‑filled garden house, and a breakfast of regional produce. The Ducal Palace lies 250 m away, the castle 650 m.

Central location, staff were friendly, the place was quiet and comfortable. The room was huge and had everything you could need. The only downside was a bit of dust in the kitchen cabinets.

The décor and old‑style charm, beautiful well‑kept furnishings, spacious, very clean rooms with plenty of spots to read or chat, a simple but tasty breakfast, and good problem resolution stood out. We had an issue with the toilet cistern, and although we booked a suite for three, they handled it well by giving us two rooms. I would note the lack of an elevator, though the stairs are comfortable. They offer parking, actually two street spots for hotel guests; we were lucky, but they might not always be free. Still, you can usually find space on the street.
