The location is good, though we didn’t get breakfast and there’s a highly recommended local pastry shop nearby. Motorbikes are rented at a good price and the staff are very kind and attentive. The room had a strong insecticide smell, and the bathroom had an unpleasant odor as well.
The staff were very helpful, but the bathroom was heavily calcified, the air conditioning worked poorly, the pillows were hard so I couldn't sleep. SCORE: 5.0/10
The actual hotel was good with nice and helpful staff. I cannot recommend booking tours from here; we paid for a private car for a Bromo tour but were put in a group, and when we requested and paid for a driver to Malang we received an older car that drove the entire highway super slowly in third gear. SCORE: 7.0/10
The house is very large and beautiful. We were welcomed warmly and any problems or questions were quickly and well handled. The area is very quiet, which makes for good sleep. We also left our luggage overnight while we were at Bromo and were allowed to shower and stay until our train arrived the next day. Highly recommended, 10/10.
