Breakfast was acceptable if you’re willing to share it with the wasps. Waking up to the owl’s chirp, the screech of a crow, and the donkey’s bray has its charm, and the bed is comfortable. The website said you could dine on site, but on our arrival day the lady was dancing and had no plans to cook. The gentleman apparently does a lot, which is commendable, but the tiles are unfinished; the sink is chipped and simply rests on its stand, not fixed, risking a fall if you lean on it. The pool water quality is unappealing. We were not told that check‑in starts at 17:00 and a tape‑sealed note was left on the door; we arrived at 17:30, so it would have been better to announce a 17:30 check‑in.
