I’ve stayed here before and it’s a sweet little place in a very good location! Everything was good.

The staff was extremely helpful when we had an emergency and very willing to work with us on everything we requested! A great property, indeed✨

Everything was very clean and well maintained!. Our room didn’t have a window. But that’s the only complaint

I liked my stay at Arusa Home Bali. The room was very clean and comfortable, it felt modern with a minimal design and subtle Indonesian touches here and there. It was tastefully done without overdoing it. There was a skylight over the shower with diffused lighting, which was nice. It was great value, especially since it’s close to the main street in Pererenan, where you’ll find almost everything you need. It’s also nice that Arusa is a bit tucked away from the main road, giving it a perfectly quiet and cozy vibe. I think it’s a perfect spot for someone new to Bali who needs a “starter” place. It’s great for that. It didn’t offer more or less than I needed, and I think when you’re in a new country for the first time, that can actually be valuable as you get your bearings and decide what’s next on the itinerary. These things were not deal breakers, and I think the comfort and cleanliness more than made up for them. There was no full-length mirror or little coffee corner, which I would have liked. At the same time, that’s also part of what I liked about the place. It was so minimal that it felt like it was giving you just enough. There was also a subtle mothball smell that permeated the room and my belongings. It wasn’t horrible, but I did notice that the smell followed me into my next hotel room after I left. Lastly, as someone who really needs natural light, my particular room didn’t get much sunlight. I was in the room with the balcony above the common area, and the lack of natural light made me not really want to work in the space during the day. This is obviously very personal, though, and someone else may not care about that at all, especially considering the value. For sleeping, relaxing, and coming back after a day of exploring, the room was totally comfortable.
