The location was excellent and the hotel was very beautiful with everything you could need, but the sofa bed in the room was not particularly comfortable.

“Hadden meer van verwacht”

The place was well situated, the breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly, but the proximity to the lake turned out to be a drawback for us; parking at the hotel was impossible, and the parking spot about 200 meters away was not ideal with luggage because of the slope. We had paid in advance, yet we had to pay again at the self‑check‑in kiosk to receive our key. The issue was resolved the next day and refunded by the staff, but it was still annoying. The view from our room was unfortunately limited by the trees. Overall, the value for money did not meet our expectations.

Everything was great, the staff were very friendly, and we even enjoyed the Schwarzwald Gästekarte, which we love because we usually travel only by bus and train. The mattresses were very firm, and the extra bed for our son was squeezed whenever he moved. The TV seems to only offer ZDF, PHÖNIX, and DAS Erste, but that was not a problem for us.

“Comfortable”

The place was quiet and offered a great view, but breakfast was spread across three rooms, which is only a very minor gripe.
