I loved the secluded location – very peaceful and private. The hut’s decor was attractive, the kitchen facilities were adequate, and the bathroom was good. Walking to the village of Steyning was easy. It’s a shepherd’s hut with every modern comfort – perfect! A herbal tea option would have been nice.

The place exceeded our expectations; the tiny caravan is lovingly furnished with every detail considered. We stayed right in the heart of the lovely town of Steyning yet still had our own little green oasis. Through the windows we watched squirrels in “our” garden, and the cleanliness was something we never saw on the rest of our trip around Britain. Before arrival we received all the information about the property, parking, local spots, and excursions. We also had the option to make a nice breakfast, and everything needed was already there. The bed was incredibly comfortable. However, at night and early in the morning we heard a knocking or hammering noise that we couldn’t identify—perhaps something with the water boiler—and it kept waking us from about 5 am.

Peaceful, cozy, and quiet. The pillows were so good we went hunting for labels and bought two to bring home 🏡 The outdoor furniture was great, and the bed was comfy. Unfortunately, there were a lot of stairs to get there and limited parking nearby. The comfy seats could have been used instead of removing the log burner, as you had a radiator. Maybe a radio just to listen to the news.
