The room met my desire for quiet, was clean and newly renovated, and check‑in started at 12 pm. However, the décor was mainly grey‑white or black‑white (pictures, curtains) and I didn’t find it very cozy. At arrival, a front‑desk employee greeted me rather impersonally, didn’t ask if my journey had been smooth, possibly because it was lunchtime and she was busy serving guests in the restaurant or preparing drinks. No assistance was offered to carry my luggage to the first floor. At check‑out, I wasn’t asked if everything was satisfactory either. Overall, it wasn’t very warm.

The location is central yet quiet, we booked a parking spot right at the hotel, the restaurant’s outdoor terrace is lovely and the food tasted great. We would book this hotel again on a future visit to Bad Ems.

We used the option to have dinner right there and were very pleased. The spot and breakfast matched our expectations.

The spot was great, parking behind the building, staff helped with the luggage, breakfast was tasty and the in‑hotel food was good. However, there was no elevator and the parking cost a fee.
