I was really surprised by how modern and fresh the rooms were, especially considering they’re above a country‑style pub. Breakfast would have been a nice addition and maybe a later check‑out on a Sunday, but it was fine.

The room was nicely decorated, the staff were friendly on arrival, and the location was good for where we were going. The bathroom wasn’t the cleanest – the toilet had marks, the shower head wasn’t very clean, and there was someone else’s rubbish in the bin when we arrived.
