The spa and location were fantastic, and the breakfast featured Prosecco and egg dishes straight from the kitchen, plus afternoon cakes—truly wonderful. We also enjoyed the free tennis offering, which was no coincidence for our third visit. What we didn’t know was that only a few rooms had new beds and no open bathrooms, and we were lucky to get one. Unfortunately the bed was very small and uncomfortable, causing severe back pain the next day. The furniture showed heavy wear, and when we requested a room change for the second night, the staff were very reluctant; the new room and bed were not much better. The communication was also less courteous and friendly than we expected from such a lovely hotel, especially for the price.

This lovely hotel boasts a beautiful garden, friendly and helpful staff, and delicious breakfast. It’s great for families and solo travelers alike. If you want a calm, quiet base to explore that part of Switzerland, it’s a solid spot to return to for the night, though the town itself isn’t very lively in the evenings.

“Great Spa hotel in an amazing location”

The hotel sits in a prime spot near the charming town. The spa area and pool were excellent, and I really enjoyed using them after a day of exploring. Breakfast was very good with plenty of options. The view from our room was great, offering a lovely lake view and a decent balcony. The staff didn’t speak good English, so it was hard to get help with restaurant and trip recommendations; they tried, but it was difficult. Spiez is beautiful but has few restaurants—only three or four near the lake, though all were good. Overall everything was pricey, roughly 30% more than in Italy, for example.

A wonderful hotel for family stays in a beautiful hotel very close to Interlaken but way better in prices and facilities. This is real hotel where you will never find in Interlaken city. Nothing was wrong, all was excellent.
